Rob’s recent representative experience includes:
  • Representing Great-West Life & Annuity Financial, Inc., in its $3.9 billion acquisition of Putnam Investments from Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc.
  • Representing corporate clients in the negotiation of CEO employment agreements.
  • Representing individuals in the negotiation of CEO or other executive officer employment agreements with large public companies or with private equity firms owning public companies.
  • Assisting a number of Fortune 25 to Fortune 200 companies and tax-exempt organizations in redesigning their officer and other nonqualified deferred compensation plans for compliance with IRS Code Section 409A nonqualified deferred compensation rules, as well as Section 162(m) performance-based compensation requirements and related executive compensation proxy disclosures.
